“The perfect man is kind, funny, and generous. He bends down to say hello to dogs and puts up shelves.”

This book was exactly what I wanted/needed it to be. Gave me a better outlook on life, made me a feminist, etc. However, I think Alderton sort of skips over the notion of romantic love being desirable. I feel like she's sort of saying that you shouldn't want romantic love too much and if you do it's coming from a place of, generally, self-hate. It's not so much that I think romantic love is important for a fulfilling life --- even if I kinda do --- I just think her overall message is weakened because she doesn't acknowledge its importance. Great book, though, made me want to download Hinge again. I read this fully in 5 days (keep in mind, I'm a slow reader)

I did cave and buy (3) books in English, sorry Italians...

I love love.
I love Dolly.
I love this book.
I love myself for reading this.
[I will write a full review I promise. I actually can not live without putting all my thoughts for this book into words.]

(ps, my last book of 2023. here's to having another great year in 2024)
