Moning's period work just isn't as good as the Fever series. This wasn't bad, but the utter steam that came off the pages in the last of the Fever books? No competition.

Wow each book in this series gets EVEN better than the last! I loved this story, there was such love and mystery and heartache that I couldn't get enough! I was enchanted just as Drustan was, and I couldn't have thought of a more brilliant ending, even though I cried and wondered what the heck?! I was fully interested in every characters life, the happy and the sad! I loved how it took place both in the 21st and 16th centuries, KMM sure knows how to blend a story and weave it to make it so so perfect! I am completely enthralled to figure out what happened to Dageus...until the next book...

I want Drustan. He is such a sexy funny, intriguing highlander. Plus he is super smart, and that is even more intriguing since you know he isn't just a dumb jock. I also love his family, Nell and Silvan just seem like to great adults I want to have as family. Plus Deagus, need I say more? He has an identical twin...

Now this book I absolutely remember from the first read. I love Drustan and Gwen. This is such a cute story, and I absolutely loved rereading this story. It felt like revisiting old friends. As much as I love Drustan I can’t wait to read the next in the series. His brother is definitely my favorite
