I usually love moomin.. But didn't enjoy the storytelling in this one, probably due to the fact that Tove Jansson only illustrated it. It felt sloppy and random, I especially found the western story to be awful. That special feeling was simply lost.

Still as enjoyable as these comics were as a kid. A nice trip down the memory lane. I really like the art and the stories that make almost no sense.

I prefer the strips written by Tove to the others written by her brother Lars.

Worth knowing what all the fuss is about, but not my favorite strip by any means.

Has a racist comic in this collection which should have been left out. Big skip on the wild west strip.
Graphic: Colonisation, Violence, Racial slurs, Racism, and Cultural appropriation
The first strip set in the Wild West is racist towards Indigenous peoples and relies on several racist tropes such as the "Indian princess" and scalping as well as racial slurs.history_bot's review against another edition

Lots of fun! My first introduction to Moomin, I wanted to see what all the hype was about. It was a fun comic, quite dated with that first time travel story, but I enjoyed it!
