I really enjoyed this the sex scenes had me blushing and the first two thirds of the book were lovely. My only real complaint is the ending wrapped up a little too quickly and nicely for my liking.

I can't decide if this book is two stars or four stars so it's getting three for now... seriously, i cannot begin to explain how much i LOVED the first third of the book. until 40%, this was a five-star, rec to everyone read. The next ~third of the book knocked it down a bit because the conflict was so poorly managed, it didn't feel honest.

the final bit is a little too wrapped up in my opinion - the drama is truly dragged out too far for me to believe how neatly it wraps up. I considered DNFing at 90%

4 - Mostly really fun, sometimes pretty serious, but mostly exceptionally fun. A fan meeting their favorite erotic writer is just a great setting and it was executed well.

The queer community in the book was just super great in the setting and I loved how it showed how queer people have always existed throughout history and found spaces.

Charles and Miles were cute and I loved the opposite attracts vibe and how their love for each other improved their lives.

Felt like the ending was deus ex machina, but also it was hard to resolve some of the complex problems that were set up in the book. Honestly, I hope for the best for Alma.
