The math was entertaining, but the authors came across as very cynical, and missing the whole point of Christmas. I realize this style was meant to be humorous, but I only found it annoying. Some of actually like math and ALSO have warm fuzzy emotions.

A fun and quick read covering the application of different areas of maths to the various traditions of Christmas. I wonder if the Queen will start to use Markov Chains to write her future speeches, and I'm hoping Waitrose will start to stock spherically symmetric turkeys.

I thought the math would be a bit higher level. The text portions read too much like a children's book.
