Loved the 1st book in the series but this one didnt grab me like the 1st one did
I wash honestly curious what this second book would offer, but it was simply amazing. The set up was familiar, the characters were familiar, but the great thing was the plot and how this could easily have been a book on its own.
The Sisterhood series have become one of my favourite series, I read all the books in the fastest time I could once I started them. You just can't put these books down!

The Second Summer of the Sisterhood (Traveling Pants, book 2)
By Ann Brashares
Young adult
My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Follow Carmen, Lena, Bridget, and Tibby through their second summer of the pants.
❤️ I absolutely loved Bridget's story. Her story was so touching. Although the base of her story can't be related to by everyone, I think the story behind it of finding yourself again can be so relatable. This was also true of Tibby. I also thouvh Lena's story was touching and emotional.
💔 I struggled so bad with Carmen's story. She feels like a flat character, which is unfortunate. I never get invested in her story. Tibby's story felt a little accurate to the setting but also fell a bit flat this book.
🎀 Book 1 was definitely better than 2, but I like how many stories are intertwined and how this can relate to many teen girls. Even the stories I find boring, someone else is probably relating too.
✨️ CONTENT WARNING ✨️
There are some sensitive topics in this book. I don't feel they go into graphic detail, but should be noted.
Sexual activity, but does a great job of showing how it can feel after
Parent loss
Death
