Most to least favorite arcs in the second book:

1. Bridget - I loved that we got to see more of Bridget's family and life before her mom died, since those were only briefly touched on in the first book. Her traveling down to Alabama and concealing her identity could've been its own story - she really shined in rediscovering herself and it was such a satisfying heart-warming read.

2. Tibby - Reading about Tibby making fun of her family and friends and trying to fit in was so hard to read, but it had a nice resolution. A lot of it involved her coming to terms with what happened in the last book, so even though some parts were frustrating, it was nice to see everything wrap up in the end.

3. Carmen - I know this is like the flip-side of what Carmen went through in the first book, but I definitely liked this arc less than the prior one. I think part of it is because when she visited her dad, it was clear how out of place she was, but here her actions weren't much until she was afraid of losing her mom. It made sense, but it didn't have the impact from before.

4. Lena - I really hope that Lena gets plotlines that don't involve romance, because her character shouldn't be confined to that. I'm glad that one love interest is finally out of the picture, but frustrated that it took so long to get there. It really feels like she's just used for a love story, because she barely has other things going on.

Also, the ending was super touching. It reminded me of why this series was so big.

I liked this one even more than the first!

The journey of the pants in this one was really great. Every girls story was enjoyable and relatable in ways.
