Milo begins a campaign for president of the United States at age 15. Although unable to assume office, he hopes to raise awareness for teen issues and encourage youth participation in politics. He also helps his sister confront depression. While not my favorite of Ally's books, I really appreciate the attempt to put teen issues in the spotlight. Teenagers and young adults are not as active in politics, and the book demonstrates that teenagers really do have place and should be able to voice their thoughts. I also liked the characters. They were fun and believable, each with distinct personalities.
