3⭐️. Fast paced, loved the best friend aspect. Overall it was good, not great. Easy to read, but pretty obvious once it hits a certain part what the full story is… there wasn’t much more to it. Wish it had a better/ more developed ending/plot but was fun enough. So don’t take it too seriously and you’ll be fine.

The title of the book was never a line in the book. I kept waiting for it to be the last line of the book with some open ended “decided for yourself what happens” twist. But no. Horribly predictable but I stayed with it waiting for the twist. And I say horribly predictable as someone who often thinks she knows what the twist will be and then is very wrong about it.

I read this for the challenge "Rich people doing bad things" and boy does this fit the bill. I agree with some reviews saying that neither Summer nor Leo were likeable at first but they definitely grew on me. The twist wasn't the biggrst surprise but the way there certainly was. It was well written and this story absolutely engrossed me.

I also felt really bad for Julie, she sucked but you just know it was her husband that killed her and Summer was right

(Audiobook) Chose this for the cover, stayed for the story. This was a fun thriller to read (listen to) on audiobook. It’d be a fun summer read. The characters were incredibly unlikable to start but then you find yourself rooting for them—love when authors can flip the script like that!

Stunning! I looooooved this book so much. Summer and Leo, the plot, the other characters and the flashbacks?! All of it was woven together beautifully. This book is fantastic
