Heaven Is for Real: A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back

I found myself laughing at certain little things and crying at the sad moments. It was a wonderful read that I think everyone should read whether you believe in heaven or not.
I loved this book! It's a really quick read (I read it in an evening), and so riveting. I love books about this topic because, while we won't know Heaven until we get there, people's stories encourage me to keep living the faith. Aside from that, the experience was entirely believable because everything was backed by Scriptures that a child could not possibly have otherwise known. Shortly after reading this book, two of my friends died and it was such a blessing to know that they are experiencing Heaven in it's full real spendor!
I LOVE reading books about heaven. Because of them, I have no fear of death & can hardly wait to go home to heaven for eternity!
I wouldn't consider myself particularly religious and I really am in two minds over God/Jesus/Heaven/Hell but I really enjoyed this book - do I believe it - I think I do - it might take me a few days to completely process it so I'll probably do an update later,
I read this book in one sitting, which is a pretty telling sign that it was fantastic.
what an awesome book that made me think and wonder and want to read the bible more!
This was another fast read, but it was truly encouraging, uplifting, and faith affirming as a little boy almost dies and recounts his vision of what heaven was like as he faced the brink of death. I was very skeptical at first, but it seems to me that many of his visions were genuine and true, although his interpretation of heaven might obviously be skewed as he saw it from a 4 year old's perspective.
I cried several times throughout the book when he talked about people he saw in heaven that were no longer here, and it made me long for the day I can also be reunited with the loved ones I can't wait to see.
A must read!

This book made me cry twice. I am not a religious person, and while the story and descriptions of heaven were amazing, the compassion and emotion of human beings towards one another is what moved me the most. It's worth reading, even for the most agnostic of us. Plus it's a quick and easy story to get through.
