I had a hard time reading and adding this book to goodreads. I read it for book club and stuck with it because it was short.
Unbelievable story. Small, powerful, quick, and you will not be able to stop thinking about it
I'm saddened by the reviews I have read. This book meant something to me. I think there is to much hate in the world to understand and appreciate this book. I loved it.

While the story was intriguing at first, the further I got into this book, the less "believable" it became ... plus, the dad was just plain annoying. It drove me crazy that every time the kid shared something about heaven, the dad was almost driving off the road or sitting there in complete befuddlement and stupor. Get over it - if you believe your kid went to heaven, quit acting so shocked and confused every time he says something - instead, question him thoroughly and write down what he says! Another thing that bugged me was that the kid was still randomly revealing details 2 years later - especially the details about Satan. Wouldn't you think that the story of Satan would have come out much sooner? Especially since kids have such an obsessions with right & wrong & the devil. He was also so upset about it ... don't try to tell me that the thought of the devil didn't pop up until 2 years after the incident! Take this one with a grain of salt.
Not sure how I feel about this book. An interesting read.

WOW! The fact that I was able to finish this book in a day speaks volumes! I'm not usually into religious books but this one was an exception. I truly enjoyed it. The story was not only touching but makes you consider your own life and personal struggles and makes you see God in them. I would recommended this book to anyone, young and old!
Would have liked more from Colten's point of view. The comments and descriptions of Heaven that he gives are really interesting and moving. I'm not sure if I think he really went to Heaven or had a vision, but who knows. Could have done without the beginning/backstory and just have more of Colten's experience. The picture of Jesus is really cool. Will be so exciting to see Him in person to see what He looks like! Fun to think about, what it will be like in His presence.
