I really enjoyed reading this book. It kept my attention the whole time. I just wasn't a big fan of how the book ended

I couldn't put this one down! So good, so many theories, and I didn't guess the twists coming! I feel like there could have been a cliff hanger ending that led to a whole other story.

This book was everything I thought it would be, it had suspense, twists and turns that make you question who to trust.

After I finished the first chapter, I had a good feeling it was going to be really interesting. The story flowed really nicely and had short chapters, with a cliffhanger for each one. Cliffhanger after cliffhanger. I loved everything about this book. I highly recommend if you like domestic suspense novels!

The main character, Elisa, she suspects that her brother-in-law, Josh, is a murderer. He has one dead wife and a missing fiancée. He seems to move on quick. You can tell from chapter one that it’s going to be interesting. Everything Elisa she pointed out, made me go “These are valid points.” She kept me guessing throughout the story.

Josh kept getting on my nerves. He had excuses about everything that Elisa accused him of. He’s very clever. Also, his brother Harris (Elisas’ husband), sticks up for him for most of the book. I liked him but my goodness, you believe every excuse he makes and don’t question it? The author was very good at making every character different and I didn’t know if I could trust all of them.

I saw the "twist" in this coming a mile away, almost right at the beginning. It also felt that it was just missing something. I was hoping the ending would make me like it more but it didn't save it. It was interesting and a quick read, but I wouldn't recommend it or read it again.
