Books like these are the reason I am still single. This is only the second Abby Jimenez  book I have read after ‘Yours Truly’, but I love the way she writes men. Clear communication, the ‘if they wanted to, they would’, falls first, funny and tall. 100% unrealistic but I’m a sucker for it.
I enjoy her characters and I love how she interlinks the stories. It won’t be the correct order but ‘Part of your World’ has moved onto my tbr.
I really liked Emma, I love that even though what she went through she is not written as one dimensional. She’s more than what happened to her. I enjoyed her friendship with Maddie too and I loved *slight spoiler* that Maddie is the one to “bring her back” after that gut wrenching and shocking plot twist. Rarely have I been so angry at a book character…
I enjoyed it not being the typical “miscommunication” trope and I just generally adored how their story played out. Definitely recommend and little shout out to my lovely friend Emily for introducing Abby Jimenez to me.

Make sure to read the triggers as I imagine it can be upsetting to some.

First, I did like it! The relationships are done pretty well and the yearning especially so! However. The product placement is so jarring and omnipresent it really took me out of it, there’s no way that there isn’t a Target ad deal going on somewhere in here. Also
the reveal of her mom just being evil felt like a lot? Like sometimes people are just awful but it felt like it should be more complex than that given all the buildup.

One of the better Abby Jimenez books (and this is the 6th one I’ve read). Love seeing the breadcrumbs from the other books in this one!
