Brilliant part 4 and, for once, a cliffhanger that I can appreciate because apparently there will be a book 5 and I cannot wait. I love the balance between murder mystery and romance in these books and I especially love the progress in the relationship between the two MCs.

Too much sex, too little plot and very unbelievable developments

The further I get in this series the more I like it. Park and Cooper are fun and well rounded, not pigeonholed, although the tendency for authors to make characters the uber-whatever is certainly present. Looking forward to more books.

Another great installment in this series. This time our men are under cover at a couple's retreat for werewolves, and there is mystery afoot like usual.

I love that as much as Cooper has grown as a character, in each book he's still showing us how he's growing into a better partner for Oliver. Cooper struggles at the beginning with house buying and we tackled this problem throughout the story with him coming to the understanding of why this next step is so hard for him. I like that we keep peeling back layers, showing just how much depth these characters have. Adhara does such a great job making these characters feel real. The banter is just perfection and the writing is next level.

I feel like each review is the same thing over and over because the books are just continuously great. So now I'm off to read the final book of the series!

4.5 stars. I loved this! I remember feeling marginally less into the third book in this series than the first two, so I wasn't sure about continuing with it (I mean, I didn't dislike it, I just wondered if I had gotten everything I needed out of the series/romance), but this was really great. I could really feel how Oliver and Cooper's relationship has evolved over the course of the series, and I loved them actually being open with one another and talking about their issues maturely, and occasionally having small fights/arguments but it never threatening their relationship.
SpoilerAnd Cooper's realization that he wanted to marry Oliver in the middle of the hug exercise and his, "Oh, fuck," was amazing, as was the ultimate proposal where he's like, "Look if wolves aren't into marriage that's fine, I'll still want to be with you as we are, but would you maybe want to get married?" and Oliver's, "I wouldn't be opposed to that," or whatever. SO CUTE.
The mystery was also pretty good, although I kind of lost track of some of the potential suspects and what was actually going on, but it kept me guessing and I wasn't able to figure everything out before the reveal. Anyways, I really adore this series and am looking forward to the next book!
