He looked extremely intimidating for a man standing totally naked except for one sock.
This might have been my favorite of the series. Oliver and Cooper go undercover to a couple’s retreat for werewolves and it’s as fun as it sounds. Cooper accidentally does some introspective work and handles it as gracefully as ever. If by grace I mean absolute denial.
I feel like Oliver finally got comfortable in this book and really stepped up his private time game. His past really did a number on him and he has a hard time trusting good things like Cooper happening to him.
I have been so delighted with this series because each book shows their relationship a little bit more settled.

Do you ever finish a book and just...wish there was more of it? Not because it had an unsatisfactory ending, but just the opposite - because it was so good that you feel you know the characters and desperately want to stay as part of their lives. That's how I feel after finishing Wolf in Sheep's Clothing by Charlie Adhara. I am quite relieved to know there's another installment coming in this series. These books are awesome.
I didn't enjoy the mystery so much in this one. The ending and reveal was good but I found the murders and build up abit boring. But if course a I still love Park and Coopers relationship.
A solid follow up! I've enjoyed seeing Cooper and Park progressively improve at communicating, and the lengths they've gone to in order to become better—as people working through their own issues, as work partners and romantic partners—culminated here. I loved the nature of this book's plot (going undercover at a couple's retreat, facing unexpected personal struggles), and the mystery was intriguing. There were moments that had me full-on cackling, as always, and I was glad to see even more expansion into wolves and pack dynamics. This second time reading Wolf in Sheep's Clothing, I still wish there had been a bit more tension surrounding the murders themselves, and the literal last few pages were a tad abrupt, but I thoroughly enjoyed the overall conflict.
“I want to marry you, Oliver.”
“But...why?” [...]
“Oh, the usual reasons,” Cooper said. “Insurance benefits, uninhibited access to your wealth in case a mad scientist ever turns you into a regular wolf-wolf and I need to buy us a secret estate, tax deductions, you’re the absolute love of my life, visitation rights, et cetera.”
