Technically I started reading Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing a few days ago. But it was a very strong read, and I was very involved in it. I adore Cooper and his development as a character and Park is lovely. The overall story here was quite strong, but it really is the relationship that makes the series so strong for me. That and the pop culture and literary references. There were some interesting overall developments and I liked the various “showdowns” in the book. Again, I also loved the descriptions of the setting and the cover art.
Overall, the macro plot continues expanding and growing but the mystery for this installment was my least favourite thus far.
Anyone else wonder how to pronounce Llcaj??!
I struggled cos of that but I’m honestly obsessed with this series and can’t wait to read the next instalment.

no thoughts head empty brain happy. and yes, choosing both "dark" and "lighthearted" was intentional.
If someone told me that I would be able to read a full book of my boys going undercover to a couple's retreat I would have LOST IT, so here's me losing it!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I love how each book is a step closer to Oliver and Cooper being even more vulnerable and in love with each other. Their relationship is so complex and realistic that combined with the plot and mystery just makes this book absolutely marvelous. Charlie Adhara just keeps outdoing herself ♡

I absolutely loved this installment. I love this series so much, and I love Cooper and Park so much.
We open this installment with Cooper and Park house hunting, only Cooper is having some reservations...not about about Park and not about living together - Park already semi-moved into Cooper's apartment and Cooper loves it - but about change, and what he hasn't told Park...he's scared of letting Park down.
Soon after that they're recruited by their old BSI boss to unofficially go undercover at a couples retreat for werewolves, where a werewolf has gone missing, and they have to get to the bottom of it. And once they get there, it isn't long before bodies start dropping and something more sinister than they thought is truly afoot.
Meanwhile Cooper and Park are working through things, but the whole time they were strong, even with the things they needed to talk about. They've come so far from the first book, Cooper especially. I wish we could get Park's POV, but it is clear that Park is as in love with Cooper as Cooper is with him. Seeing the usually prickly, sarcastic Cooper melt and have heart eyes all the time for Park is the best.
The mystery was well done, and I had no idea who could be behind everything until it was revealed, probably because the case itself was so confusing for so long. Like...what was the motive? Didn't know for the longest time.
But the author still kept it interesting and gripping, and Cooper and Park's relationship was the biggest draw, which I felt we got more of them than usual in this and I loved it. The ending was wonderful too and so very them, I was giddy reading it.
Can't wait for the next book....wonder what we'll get by the end of that one...hopefully what I think we'll get. Not without some stumbling along the way and some murders to solve before it happens, though ;)
Absolutely adored this latest installment in this amazing series. Two big thumbs up from me, HIGHLy recommended!
