I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it,,, too many twists that made sense for the book but took too long to get to and the communication between the mc and love interest was unreasonable bad. The way the abusive relationship the mc had with his husband was not resolved or handled well which made me want to quit reading but i made it this far in the series so i pushed through til the end of the book.

I loved this book! It was the same quality of writing I love to see from Ben alderson. My only gripe was it did get a little slow in the low 200s but it pick back up around 350. Still excellent though!
