Took a little bit for me to get into but it was a decent read. I can see the students enjoying it and talking up that ending. Will buy for the library.

I received a copy of this book via GoodReads giveaways in exchange for a review.

Only Everything is an easy, breezy fun summer read. In Kieran Scott's tale of the lower goddess Eros (aka Cupid) is banished to Earth after the mighty Zeus discovers she has a mortal boyfriend, Orion, whom she plucked down from the sky. In order to make it back up to Mt. Olympus and reunite with her love, Eros (who goes by the name True on Earth) must match up three teenage couples -- without her powers to help her. While Scott's story doesn't tread much new ground -- and has many predictable elements -- her writing is clever and fast-paced. This book is a real page turner and a great light read for summer. If you're looking for some summer fun and romance, this is a good choice.

Only Everything, the latest from Kieran Scott, was unlike anything I’ve read before. It’s a fun, fast-paced, romantic story that will have readers rooting for not only Eros but the couples she’s trying to match up.

Eros is a bit cocky, kind of dumb, and a lot weird, but she’s also a lot of fun. She’s never been to Earth for more than a few days at a time so she really has no clue how to act when she’s forced to Earth for the duration of time it takes for her to make three true love matches. She dresses in the weirdest outfits, she forgets that she has to eat, she doesn’t realize that if she drinks a ton of wine she’ll get a major hangover, and she tends to think that stealing is okay because everyone should share anyway. It definitely makes for some laugh out loud moments throughout the course of the book.

It’s not all Eros’ story though. Both Charlie and Katrina have a major role in the book as well. Katrina is lost without her dad and she could care less about what anyone thinks of her. Her mom has pretty much checked out of her life so she spends most of her time living with her boyfriend, an older guy who is a total jerk. Katrina doesn’t know what she wants out of life or love but Eros is pretty sure she knows who Katrina’s perfect match really is. Charlie is Eros’ only friend for a while. He’s the new guy in school and Eros takes it upon herself to find him a girlfriend to help him fit in. He really doesn’t need help fitting in but he’s a nice guy so he lets Eros have her way. The dates she sets him up on are quite funny and while Charlie is forced to go through some crazy stuff, he realizes that Eros is just trying to be a friend to him.

Only Everything is not just about romance though. Both Katrina and Charlie have things going on in their home lives that they have to face throughout the course of the book. The family drama really added another layer to the story. Eros also had her own family drama. Her mom, Aphrodite, was banished to Earth with her and it put a real strain on their relationship. They both had to learn how to act like humans and how to get past their own drama to work together to get home. There was really a lot more to this story than I expected.

The romance was a big part of the story though. It was a slow building romance that I loved. Charlie and Katrina are drawn to each other from the start but they both have things going on in their lives that prevent them from being together. They slowly build up a friendship and from there it’s just a matter of time before they realize how they really feel about each other. They were super cute together even when they were at their awkward maybe friends, maybe more stage.

Overall, Only Everything is another wonderful read from Kieran Scott. Check this one out but be warned that the cliffhanger ending just might kill you. I need the next book now!

So much fun!! I thought the whole concept of this book was smartly done. I always wish for more time that the main characters can finally be together but alas... Definitely a fun romance for Greek mythology fans!

I really liked this book. I liked the characters and the development they went through. Charlie was one of my favorites, he was great in the beginning and kept getting better. Katrina was annoying in the beginning because she wouldn't break up with Ty. He was so bad for her and she couldn't see it. True was my least favorite character, I didn't care for her at all. My LEAST favorite part of the book was the flashbacks if true when she was Eros when she in mount Olympus, those were so annoying and I skimmed it most of the time. Overall I really liked it though and thought it was really entertaining!

Only Everything by Kieran Scott had a slow start for me but I have to say, once it started moving a bit faster, I found myself enjoying the story. I think what really did it for me were the characters more than anything. Yes, the story is interesting but the way the stories of these characters are intertwined was done well and I found myself really liking each of them.

As the story begins, Eros – the Goddess of Love – has fallen in love with a mortal (Orion) and through the help of her mother, Aphrodite and her sister, Harmonia, she manages to keep him a secret but eventually her father Ares finds out about him and brings them both to Zeus for punishment. As part of her bargain with Zeus, Eros offers to do anything if Zeus spares Orion and he comes up with the idea that he will banish her to earth where she will be mortal and tasked with making three couples fall in love…without using any powers.

Eros definitely struggles as a mortal. She doesn’t quite get that she can’t just do whatever she wants without there being consequences. As she begins her first day of high school, she meets Charlie, another new student and they slowly become friends. This is also right about the same time that True (Eros’ name on earth) decides she is going to help Charlie find a girlfriend. Overall I liked True – she was absolutely not in her element but she has a good heart and was doing what she was for all the right reasons.

Charlie is used to moving around and this is just another school in the list of schools he has already attended. Because his father is a pretty big deal as a high school football coach, the family tends to move every few years. The thing is, Charlie has always been a different than his dad and brothers. They are all athletic and he loves being a musician and happens to be a pretty great drummer. As Charlie begins his first day, he is immediately pulled into the popular crowd because of who is responsible for touring him around and gets talked into trying out for Cross Country. When he makes the team, Charlie realizes things can be different and he can be a “cool” kid but he struggles with the fact that this means he probably can't be himself (according to others).

Katrina has had a really rough year since her father died and while her mother copes by working a lot and making Katrina feel like she isn’t even important to her anymore, she has come to rely more and more on her boyfriend, Ty. Unfortunately, he isn’t the best guy ever and takes advantage of her all the time in addition to treating her like crap quite a bit. Every time I got to a chapter from Katrina’s point of view I just wanted to crawl inside the book and give her a hug.

As the story progresses and these three characters’ stories are woven together, we find out more about each and how they all will have an impact on each other. I really did find myself rooting for all of them and wanted them to get what they wanted/needed. While Charlie and Katrina always tiptoed around the fact that they had feelings for each other, True realized it (after some trial and error) and forced them to see it as well. The addition of Hephaestus to help True get things done was great and I think he created a good balance to the story as well as got True beyond the whole, “I don’t know how to act human” thing.

Obviously this is only one match that True has made so she has two more before she can go back to Mount Olympus. I will definitely check out book two in this series to see what happens next. It appears Zeus has put a little spin on things based on how this book ended so I am curious to see what his real motive is and what he is up to.

Definitely check this out if you are looking for a cute YA romance.
