I love this series. It was a great fast-paced read and it was a very interesting read.

I am clearly addicted at this point. I even bought the next two together and downloaded them. I am really enjoying the story although I always enjoy stuff related to time travel - so mindbending. The characters are not really surprising me, but the story is a little bit. It is a very very fast read so I finished this one in just one night of not being able to sleep

The King family continues to discover new and dangerous secrets about their house. The boys, Xander and David, continue to search for their mother but find someone else instead. The strange man, Taksidian, continues to try and get the Kings out of the house in any way he can.

The third book in the Dreamhouse Kings series continues to offer great action. The characters are still a bit stagnant and none of them seem to be anywhere closer to their goals. While there is little resolution, there is still a lot of forwrd momentum that is driving the story forward.

I'm sure I would have enjoyed this series much more had I read it much younger. Now it just feels repetitive, like a subpar TV show that goes on for too long. But l do probably keep reading it because of the sunk costs fallacy. I'm more than halfway through the books currently out and it hasn't taken too long. Also, even though it is not a stupendous story, it is not the trashy young adult fiction that is currently so trendy, so that's a plus.

4.5 stars. It's a great book and this series just keeps getting better, but I'm so ready for answers! There are some answers in this book, but more questions to go along with them. I loved seeing Toria and Jesse's perspectives and hope that continues into the rest of the series. All together, it's an awesome series that I can't wait to finish! Intriguing mystery, action, and creepiness with just the right amount of humor and everything else needed to make a good book. Also! The author apparently is in love with cliffhangers, sooo its a good thing I have the next book...
