I didn't want to put this one down! A former Nazi has settled in KS, and an unlikely team joins forces to stop his legacy of evil. Grecian's first book set in Kansas is fast-paced and dark, with some unexpected twists. Beware: you'll want to stay up way too late to finish this in one sitting.

What starts out as a smart thriller with an interesting plot set in a small Midwest town devolves into silly, action-movie dreck.

Listened to an audio version from the library, it was recommended on the app, & it was available right away.

It was better than not having any book to listen to, but not much better.

Would not recommend, would not read anything else by this author.

An interesting story with some good plot twists and lovable characters. I didn’t love it quite as much as Red Rabbit but still a great read

This book is about a topic that is not really addressed much in novels related to WWII: what happened to Nazis and Nazi sympathizers following the defeat of the Third Reich?

I’ve not read anything by Grecian before, but his strong characterizations (including being able to write a no-nonsense but lovable female protagonist), good writing, and engaging plot have won me over.
