What a great way to start the 2024 new year! This book was fantastic! I enjoyed it better than book 1 and book 1 was a 4.5 star for me. Totally addicted to this series and I’m so excited to start book 3.

So many secrets revealed in such dramatic fashion that Aelin Galanthynius would have been proud. As Scarlett finally figured out how she felt about Sorin (one obstacle down woo!), more problems arose as the villains began to make their moves in earnest.

There were less "purring" and "crooning" in this book (thank God!) than in the previous, although they were still nails on chalkboard every time I saw them. Roehrich finally found her footings in this world and I could not wait to see more of it in the next books!
