I must admit it took me quite a while to get through this book but I just haven't had a want to read lately - must work on that!

Anyway - this book, like the previous two books I've read was very, very enjoyable. I really liked the plot and characters involved although I do have two quams.

1) I don't know if it was just my ebook version or if it was the way the book was written, but the scenes jumped so randomly and quickly in places that it disturbed the flow of my reading

2) The whole book seemed to have a highly anti-climatic ending.

The whole personal relationship side of the book irked on me slightly but I really did enjoy it

I love this book! I love everything Patricia Cornwell writes and will definitely continue reading her work. This book was really good. It kept me interested and there were twists in the plot that I never expected.

I lost count of the amount of times they had dinner. Is there really no other way to convey information?

Better than the book that precedes it but, in my opinion, still inferior to the first one. In this the deaths aren't so macabre, there's a lot more of politics getting into the story (a very positive point), and gets a bit more detached from the scheme used by Cornwell in her previous books; despite that, the story, once again, wasn't able to caught me like Postmortem.
