The short story collections were fun, but this was just...ugh. So boring. Nothing happened. Ciri trains with a sword, she trains with magic, and then it ends.

I'll keep reading because I'm far too invested to give up on this series now, but I'm still annoyed.

DID NOT FINISH: 30%

I didn't realize it's not the first book in the series. Even though I watched The Witcher series on Netflix, I found the book very hard to get into and boring. Life is too short for boring books :)

Still a nice universe, but this books is quite boring. Not much happening and si many endless meetings and dialogues. Many new names without proper introduction that disappear again

It enjoyed this much more than I expected, since most famous book series don't typically live up to their hype. I'm excited to read more.
However, I couldn't help but laugh at the fact that Geralt of Rivia, famed monster slayer, the titular Witcher, did not slay a single monster throughout the whole book.
