I have to focus on one character for a moment. The story as I know it is that the original language for this series was Polish. The troubadour character in this series is "Jaskier", which translates to English as the flower "buttercup". As that's not the image they wanted for the character, they elected to call him "Dandelion" in the English translation, instead; a slightly more masculine-sounding (but just as flamboyant) flower. I can see how this change works.
In this book, I'm confused as to why Dandelion's name is suddenly "Dandilion". I originally assumed a spelling error in my Kindle-version of the book, but then noticed the audio book reader pronounces it "dan-dill-ee-un", too. Odd since he pronounced it "Dan-dee-lion" throughout the first two books.
Ergo, I have to conclude this is an error, and one that absolutely could have (and should have) been caught and fixed. The fact it was wrong in the written version is awful. The secondary fact it got as far as to be incorrect the audio books, too, is a travesty.

It was fine. Nothing great about it. Clearly setting up for a big milulti-book storyline. Would have liked some resolution, but I guess this is all I get for the time being.
