*audiobook* ... umm so that happened. That was some time of my life that I'll never get back. So, the audiobook was not great. There's POV of a cat & she makes cat noises... which I would not recommend listening to this unmuted (or at all). The twists were more of a nuisance than actually shocking. This just was not for me. Ted having DID was not surprising given the trauma that his mother put him through, but the ending where he really should have died and some random stranger just followed him and then saved him... HUH?? Okay sure sure. THEN how Dee just stumbles in the woods after Ted because she is convinced he has Lulu, mind you WITHOUT calling the cops first. No be so fucking for real because that would not happen - if you suspect someone kidnapped your sister, then call the cops and at least let the authorities know to track you?! THEN of courseeeee she gets bitten by a rattlesnake, but NOPE not when it's alive, but after she kills it and it swings around and then that is how she dies...

I was so confused throughout the beginning of the book, but as the book went on, I was both intrigued and excited to see what happened next. I appreciated how different this book was, I’ve never read anything quite like it! If you’re looking for a creative and interesting book, I highly recommend this one!
