I would recommend reading this with your eyes because the audiobook is …silly (one of the narrators is a cat who makes A LOT of cat sounds) and it ruins the suspense/horror elements. There are twists on twists on twists in the last quarter of the book and I can see how some people might be wow-ed…but I was…not.

i thoroughly enjoyed this! the alternate POVs was *just* enough to keep me confused but not lose me entirely (which tends to happen to me when there’s too many characters to read from)

knowing what the twist is now there’s some very clear hints throughout the story that point in that direction. this might be the first mystery/thriller book that i’ve annotated my thoughts and theories in & i’ll definitely be doing that more often!! it kept me actively reading it and guessing
