It’s over and now I’m sad because Saber and Zak are one of my favorite couples. This book is all about Saber realizing truths that are right in front of her. Saber has finally realized that she has feelings besides rage, anger and hate. She has come a long way and is finally facing the truth of the situation she is in. We finally get to see bird bitch get the smack down she deserves. But there are others that need to be watched and dealt with. I’m just happy that Saber starts to let other people in and actually feel things. The ending is very surprising too

The
preganncy reveal
in the epilogue was not needed and I felt like spoiled the ending of the series.

Fantastic

The perfect conclusion to a great series. I find I like Saber much more than I did in the first book - though no less compelling - but that's kind of the point. She's grown so much and so well, which is a marker of a great protagonist, and befits a great story.
I recommend it to anyone who has enjoyed the series thus far, or indeed, has enjoyed any of Marie's Guild Codex books. It won't disappoint.

The plot was fine. What was not fine was wild overuse of the word “azure”. I’m begging for some synonyms.

very good

These two deserved their happy events after - and the it went the best way it could. Familiar faces crop up too.
