I have to say I love Emery. He was by far my favorite character. He was awkward and clumsy and had some of what were probably the cutest reactions to things. I have to say I envied his ability to adapt but growing up with his mother I guess strange was normal. His character was the best fleshed out in my opinion and I felt connected to all his awkwardness. Cory was interesting too but Emery really stole the book for me. Their relationship was sweet and steamy and Cory was everything a REAL alpha should be. Protective, strong, and kind. None of that buttholeness that makes people think alpha. Nope a true alpha who is secure enough to not have to put others down to feel good about himself. I have to say I look forward to continuing the series for a few reasons. A big part because I cannot wait to see what happens with Sam.

I love this story, normally I am not too fond of dragon shifter stories but this series is great (except for the unicorn stuff but that will come later in the series)

Interesting concept. I liked the dragon out of time though I would have liked to see more of Cory’s interactions with the modern world. The nebulous evil I’m still not sure about. I definitely think I’ll continue with the series though.

I really enjoy Piper Scott's writing, although this is the first book I've read by her besides the Clutch-Bond-Raven ones. I do not enjoy mpreg but at least this delivery was a c-section. There were several minor misspellings.

This was a great entry into this new dragon series. I'm excited to see the next entries. Emery and Cory were cute, but we didn't get a lot of their relationship building, it was more developing the plot and world.

I really enjoyed this story. I liked the connection between Emery and Cory and can’t wait to read more about them as the series goes on. I found it odd that Cory wasn’t more confused by the new world he’s woken up in considering nothing was the same as when he was put in Stasis. I liked the addition of Sam the Dragon Man and I’m looking forward to reading his book next. I’d recommend this book, series and both authors to everyone.

This book was quick, easy, and sweet, with an extreme case of insta-love. I liked this as a setup for the rest of the series. Before this book, I had primarily read wolf-shifter stories, so dragons were a nice change of pace. I wouldn't say I liked the resolution of the unnamed enemy because it does not seem to connect to the story at large. I've reread this series several times, and the villains in this book are not tied to the larger narrative developed in the subsequent books.
