It was fine. I couldn't relate to Hannah, & I didn't like the jumps through time. The letter at the end was stramge to me because no other chapters were letters.

First off - don't judge this book by its title. The contents are nothing so frivolous as it would suggest.
This book started off feeling too close to home because I've got a lot of similar personality traits to the main character, but it got more interesting as things went on.
I really like how we see Hannah grow into her own self as the book goes on - at the end you'll feel like cheering her for making good choices and being able to tell you how she's progressed.
Very modern, very real, very good.
Btw - only putting this on the romance shelf because it deals mostly with the seeking of love and relationships - not for any stereotypical reason.

Don't read this. Just. Don't.
I literally kept putting this book down, confused, bored, annoyed, and I always picked it up again a few days or another book later. Because I always finish books. Finishing this one was painful.
Just, trust me. Don't try.

A bit frustrating at times, but I love the way Curtis Sittenfeld writes with such honesty.

I actually really, really liked this book. I thought it would be a chick lit book, which was fine, but it was so much more.

Despite the cheesy title and cover, I really enjoyed this book. It's short and moves quickly. Sittenfeld is a great writer and she shouldn't dumb down her titles and covers the way she seems to, maybe it's the publishers? I'd recommend it!
