I thought this book was incredible!
a really strong opening line; like "stared at it for a full minute and committed it to memory" strong. the writing style was simple and to the point in such a good way.
At first I was surprised that the last half of the book spanned so many years but I think the pacing worked, and it highlighted the key moments of anh's life and her family's life.
some really sad moments but little gems of hopefulness and reflection too.
