My new beau (a fellow cat lover, yay!) lent this to me. It was a lovely celebration of the magic and mystery of cats. I've never thought much of Andy Warhol's work, but I could feel the life in these cats oozing off the page. 'Pets are really the answer'.

I spotted Andy Warhol's Cats, Cats, Cats on Open Library, and couldn't bring myself not to borrow it. Here, sketches and illustrations of cats can be found alongside a series of highly cliched quotes, not all of them about cats, but all of which are attributed to Warhol himself. I liked a couple of the drawings here, but there was a definite similarity to a lot of them, and some felt a little unfinished. I would personally have preferred to have the drawings here by themselves; the quotes made it less of an art book, and more of a gift one, and the overall effect was rather twee.
