Audiobook (All of my entries on The Story Graph are audiobooks.)
Why I added this book to my TBR pile: I was looking for Christmas reads and this was one of the few that was a mystery and not a romance.
Will I read more of the series? Probably Not Maybe Likely Most Likely Definitely It took a bit for me to like the narrator and the story, but by the end, I was enjoying it. I will probably check out another installment, maybe next Christmas,
The narrator was Allyson Ryan. At first I didn't like Allyson's voice, but by the end of the story, I came to appreciate her.

I almost finished…but I just couldn’t. The story was solid, but I couldn’t abide by the cop romantic interest. That and the entire cast of characters was all seemingly white and straight. Maybe these elements are hallmark of this genre, which I don’t read usually, but it seemed glaringly basic. Didn’t even care whodunnit by the end, I just straight up quit
