Well, that was a cosy, Christmasy fun. And yes, I am gonna listen to the sequel, [b:'Twas the Knife Before Christmas|43183597|'Twas the Knife Before Christmas (A Christmas Tree Farm Mystery, #2)|Jacqueline Frost|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1544381629l/43183597._SX50_.jpg|59393618], as they are available on Audible's Plus Catalogue (imagine Prime Reading on kindle, but Audible).

I loved most everything about this book. You notice early on they only eat a certain type of food in the book until the last bit which I thought was great actually. :) The romance was decent and the characters and town sounded so lovely. :) I thought for SURE I knew who did it, but I was wrong... as usual hehe. I'm terrible at solving mysteries. :)

The reason I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 is because I got tired of how the case was handled by the sheriff so nonchalantly yet "serious" at the same time. Though to be fair, I don't think it would have made such a cute story otherwise. <3

What a Fun Christmas Mystery!! This is a great fun Christmas story. I enjoy the characters and the story line. It reminds me of Hallmark Mystery Movie. I would recommend the book and I’m looking forward to reading the next one.

This was a fun cozy mystery! I enjoyed it, but I don't think it is anything that will stick with me over time, but it was a fun quick read!

For me this book got off to a slow start as it ventured a hair too closely to being too cutesy for words. Set in a town called Mistletoe during the days leading up to Christmas there is so much sweetness initially but eventually settles into a fairly standard cozy mystery with some characters that are fun to spend time with.

What a great first book in this series. I like all the characters. Holly & the sheriff will hopefully have a romance. I seem to like sleuths with potential law enforcement as a boyfriend. The tree farm was more than that with games & contests, a dance, gift shop, cafe. I could live there. I had a thought on the killer then changed my mind. Glad I did as I was right. Good mystery though. Great ending.

If I had one word to describe this book, it'd be cute. Now that probably seems weird since the story revolves around a murder, but that's the word that keeps repeating in my mind. It starts off with a cute cover which opens up into a story featuring a super cute setting, likable characters, and a rescue cat named Cindy Lou Who.

The town of Mistletoe, Maine was so charming and the Christmas tree farm was great. The Twelve Days of Reindeer Games sounded like so much fun and a great place to visit during the holidays – well, minus the murder.

All in all, it was a good book. Not one of my favorite cozy mysteries, but not bad by any means. It'd be a great book for anyone who's in the mood for a cute, fluffy read.
