I was absolutely blown away by this short story collection, Birnie writes such fantastic stories about the gross and the mundane, that really get under your skin. This is definitely a book to be experienced in a few sittings, preferably at night. 

'Like a Zip' had me squirming, 'Hand-Me-Down' had me questioning my own sanity and the final story 'Other Houses' had me questioning reality. I loved how cameras and photography played a part in a lot of the stories and upon finishing, I wasn't surprised to find out that Birnie is a photographer.

I Would Haunt You If I Could is an absolutely fab collection, and if you love short horror stories, you definitely need to grab this.
