A very interesting on women in the workplace, as someone starting their career I have learned a great deal of how to navigate.

Enkele tips zijn goed, deze worden daarna door een negatieve toon weer afgebroken. Misschien is haar aanpak in Amerika geaccepteerd, maar denk dat dit daarbuiten negatief overkomt.

Typical cookie-cutter career advice book that glazes over the unique challenges women of color experience.

Also, the author referred to slaves as indentured servants (when referencing the movie Lincoln).

This was a very great book for women in business or women pursuing a degree in business, like myself. I feel these tips were great for how not just women but all people can make themselves appear confident and competent in their career. Although there were some points that felt like the man-fearing type of feminism, I think most of this book is very valuable and would recommend it to my peers.

This book is slightly outdated and although a lot of the advise is still relevant, most isn't applicable in our rapidly changing workplace landscape.
