Sad for the end of the Roe Teagarden series.
I did the entire series via audio because I loved the reader, and she helped me get through some of the more "outrageous" elements of the series.
The conclusion still feels unfinished. There's so much more to say, but Roe's character has come full circle in the conclusion.
More to come...

This is the last book in this series and, frankly, I'm glad it is finished. It is not the author's best work. I find the main character too sanctimonious. In this one, Roe discovers her stepsister-in-law murdered and her teenage brother shows up on her doorstep unannounced. Good riddance Aurora.

A quick and easy read. Nothing fancy- and it was just what i was after on the day- something a bit silly I did not have to think about much.
I remember liking the books a lot more than the True Blood series when I first read them- but now I cringe at the language as well as the sentiments of many of the characters. They have really dated, and not in a good way.
Most interesting thing was learning about what people eat and how they cook for Thanksgiving :)

Poor Roe. For her town to be such a small and awesome little town there sure are a lot of dead people, and all linked to her. This one is her sister in law via her step brother, whom until the last book we did not know too much about, now in this book seems she had quite the life and is now very dead. The usuals show up with some newbies and some then a few that we all know but do not get to have in there very much. I loved the ending but geez, what a cliffhanger. I NEED MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
