I enjoyed this last entry into the Aurora Teagarden series and thought Harris wrapped it up rather nicely. I like the character development of Melinda and wish she had been around for more of the books. I also wish the Uppity Women club had been mentioned it the previous books and it seemed odd that they were so important and powerful yet she had never mentioned them. A nice end to a nice series.

It was a little better than the rest, though that's not saying much. I'm not sure why Harris hasn't written any more. Especially since this one ended in a way that to me indicated that there were going to be more. I guess the Sookie Stackhouse books got too popular.

Finally, a reasonably happy ending! Good thing, since this is the end of the series.

This was the 8th book in the series and was the final book...however, she has #9 coming out in October. I liked this one :)

Typical Aurora Teagarden mystery - nothing special, nothing GREAT. I figured out the killer early on but I did enjoy the read overall. The primary reason that I love these books is that they are light, easy reads. I do like Aurora Teagarden and her journey throughout the books. These may be fluffy but I do enjoy them as a break from more literary books!

This was another entertaining read from the Aurora Teagarden series. None of the books in this series are all that plausible, and this one was no exception, but despite the author's insistence in previous books that Roe could never have kids, it didn't really bother me that she discovered she was pregnant before the end of this one. I like to disregard the middle books of the series because I couldn't stand Martin, so I love the idea of her living happily ever after with Robin Crusoe, who I felt was the better match from the outset. I am looking forward to finishing the series and seeing how things turn out for them.

If all the books in this series were like this one, I'm very glad I happened to pick up the last one. This book was kind of stupid and the ending was so completely ridiculous and simple that I almost can't take it. Having read all the Sookie Stackhouse books and knowing what a great writer Harris can be, I'm kind of confused by how silly this book was. Although, considering how crappy the Sookie series ending was, I guess I'm not surprised.
