I think she wrote this in one day, pulled random plot twists that are stupid out of her ass, and then ruined both the male main characters into 13 year old boys having a pissing match. And Caly? Completely insufferable.

OMG I can’t even — I thought I loved book 1 of the infatuated fae series — how does it feel — which was excellent — but this book!!! — omg this book was even better!!! — and I’m totally dying inside that I have to wait for book 3 — prince mendax is the only man I’d ever consider callong daddy — do whatever the hell he wants me to — bow to his every whim and fucking love every second of it — he is just so wickedly lascivious, and if my future man doesn’t share the same completely unhinged level of possessiveness — I don’t want him — fuck me!! — it actually concerns me a little bit, just how much this character has affected me — so wrong but so hot in all the wickedest and most exhilarating ways — yeah I think I need therapy — what did you do is an absolute banger of a book and when I say I devoured this book — I mean I DEVOURED it — this book did things to my insides that should be illegal — After killing prince mendax in book 1, clay escapes to the seelie realm ready to retrieve the other half of her heart and become a royal seelie — only to discover the terms of her arrangement with queen Saracen have been changed and there is now another condition — she has to marry her life long best friend Prince Aurelius (Eli) — who despite being a sweet and really good guy — I DO NOT LIKE — NOT ONE BIT — for no other reason than he’s prince mendax’s competition — haunted by her memories  and unyielding love for prince mendax — caly struggles to come to terms with her actions and what she now must do in order to achieve her goals — there is definitely an underlying motivation for everything caly has and will do — and was a point of constant intrigue throughout the reading of the book — everything is put at risk when she discovers that those sinfully delicious dreams she’s been having, that haunting voice from the grave and those unsettling eyes she’s felt on her — aren’t the remnants of a ghost from her past — no no no — prince mendax is alive and well and ready to punish her and all those who took her from him — caly and mendax’s relationship proves — at least on caly’s part — that there is a VERY fine line between love and hate — and it is as hot as the fires of hell — or Tartarus — everything falls to pieces for caly once the secret is out — her life and her plans are now in major jeapardy — there is so much action and so many plot twists towards the end of the book — and a few throughout the start of it as well — that I can’t really give you any more info without ruining it for you — but when I tell you it’s an absolute nail biter — you best believe it — I actually cried — twice — once from heartbreak and pure anguish and once with joyous relief — one of the best books I’ve read this year — and I’ve read some REALLY good books so far this year — prince mendax I would be your demented little hellion any day — please be my shadow daddy
