Not really my kind of poetry unfortunately, too ambiguous whilst also being too plain, not sure how Williams has managed that

Williams' poems are easily digestible because he manages to describe the mundane with the shortest and most simple lines, which is impressive in itself. Sometimes his observations seem a little too mundane for my taste, other times I could only marvel at the beauty and angles he finds in his surroundings and manages to describe on point like Flowers by the Sea.

Some really sweet poems in here with beautiful wordplay. My favourite poem was called "The bare Tree"

I know his thing was just like, watching things and writing them down and having the reader fill in the gaps, and there is some huge merit to that, and some poems were quite nice, but i think i was looking for something moreeee. Maybe i was not quite in the right headspace idk. But it was nice to have daily life reflected in poetry as it is for sure
