I enjoyed the book but midway found it getting somewhat "preachy".

Something I saw recently referenced this 2009 book and I found it interesting on various levels: MS and its symptoms and challenges (I have some friends with MS), giving as a means of reconnecting with the universe and with gratitude, independent business challenges (in the book Cami has been a business consultant and is living into her identity as a writer). A good reminder to give attentively and intentionally every day, large or small gifts.

I love the concept of this book. Cami had a challenging time, and hopefully this book inspires others to improve their outlook in life.

Cami was diagnosed MS months into being newlyweds. Not what either Cami or her husband signed up for. This book is her journey with a spiritual guy as she gives for 29 days and learns of the heart, mind and soul changing experiences that come with opening your heart up again.

I have had this book forever and finally did the audio. I really enjoyed hearing how real her journey was/is. I am grateful to have read this and look forward to sharing with others.

I didn't finish it. Im sure she's a lovely person, not opposed to the idea of giving, but just not engaging for me.

I'd really give this 3.5 stars. I loved the concept and the idea, as well as hearing about what led the author to start this. By the end though, I felt like I could have read a long article instead of a book about the topic. Definitely inspired me to do this!!

I really learned a lot about multiple sclerosis from this book. I didn't know much about the disease. Cami Walker wove the story about her burden of having and learning to live with MS with the concept of giving to others to enrich your life. I think she did a good job conveying the struggle of having MS on a daily basis. It did get a little monotonous, however. I do now have more knowledge and compassion for the disease. I do believe in the power of giving as well. I recommend this book to all my friends.

This book had such potential. Giving a gift a day for 29 days could have shown the impact on the author or the recipients. Instead, the book focused on the material things the author believes she received as reward for her gift-giving, as if playing some silly game. Distasteful.

A very personal story and a very easy read, I recommend this book to anyone who wants to bring more positive energy to their lives. Here's to giving for its own sake!
