OMG this is absolutely a great book. A perfect love story with huge turns in the end which leaves you real-ling. This is a 3 book story all people are entwined in each book. A Must Have All. Oh and don't forget your tissues with this one which is a must.

Re-read because I missed Sam and Mitch. Had forgotten how much the end makes me cry. Awesome.

I really enjoyed this book. Way too much sex in my opinion though. I'm no prude but holy cow there was a lot of sex. And more acts that I've ever heard in one book! I do rate it 4 stars because of the connection between Mitch and Sam was stellar. Mitch fell for Sam I think right from the start when he saw him dancing in the alley but you don't actually hear him voice it but you know just from the way he takes care of Sam all throughout the book. Sam on the other hand is young, naive, and inexperienced so he's clearly insecure with many things as he makes the journey with Mitch but slowly opens up. He's slower to admit his feelings (like HORRIBLY slow) but he eventually makes the right decision that's right for both of them. I have to say that the addition of Randy was a hitch in their lives but I slowly started to like him instead of thinking he's just a gigantic a**. The end, oh my gosh, the end was phenomenal and so satisfying that I was almost weeping cause seriously, the last chapter or two was breaking my heart.

3.5 stars. I get that the flawed hero is a romantic figure, but either Mitch was too flawed for me, or I was not feeling very patient when I read this. I wanted to smack Mitch more than once, and I could have backed over Randy with my car and kept on going.

A very hot story, well told, and I liked Sam.

I loved Sam and Mitch. I seriously didn't think I was going to like Randy and all the game-playing he did with the other two, but he grew on me. It's late at night and I seriously need to get to bed, so this is going to be short, but I have to say that I LOVED the last scene of the book. It made the book for me.

3 stars...3.5 stars?
Review is spoilery so read at your own risk
I don't know. I was hearing such fantastic things and its been on my TBR FOREVER! so I think maybe I built it up too much...or I'm just not as kinky as the rest of you! J/K--kind of
No, I liked it...I gotta admit, I was kinda like "What?" when Sam is introducing himself to us...he's not the usual character, but I liked him and hated his family with the appropriate passion and I kept whispering him to pick up the phone and call Mitch. I was glad when he did.
The sex was...hot...a few times like eyebrows to the hairline hot. I enjoyed that.
Mitch frustrated me and Sam frustrated me with his frustration, but I guess I got it.
I will tell you that the introduction of Randy was like
Happy sexy buzz: officially

Killed
I didn't want him around, I was searching the cab of Mitch's truck for a shotgun, I mean I really didn't want him around.
But then I guess I saw the need for him, why he was necessary and what he revealed about the dynamic of Sam and Mitch.
I think Sam showed some maturity there toward the end and I appreciated that he didn't take the easy way and genuinely wanted to figure stuff out for himself.

Overall, I enjoyed...didn't love but I enjoyed. Will read more from this author.

So I went into this on the heels of my reread of Nowhere Ranch and honestly knowing very little. The train was moving on and I was happy to be on it. Marco stated “you are aware that there is an open relationship and sharing, right?” Yes, I gathered this from the blurb but what does that really mean exactly? I had read no reviews so this could have been anything. To me, an open relationship can push towards cheating really quickly. Can mean going out without your partner to “fuck around” and that really is not ok with me. I get that for many people this works and for me it just doesn’t. So enter Mitch and Sam.

This relationship builds amazingly well but boy is this book kinky. I mean, I thought Nowhere Ranch was kinky but this one took dirty to a whole new level. But I think what I love most about Cullinan is that there is a reason for the dirty…a reason for the kinky acts and why these acts work for the couple themselves.

At no point did I ever feel things were happening that were not consensual. They were together. They read each other. There were safe words and looks and touches that showed how this game of sex was being played with mutual understanding and desire. But there were things missing in their relationship. Things unexplored and it took someone from Mitch’s past to guide them to that place they desperately wanted to be. So enter Randy…

My gawd this guy makes quite an entry and I loved this cocky asshole from the start. Easily my favorite character from the book, this guy is a player. He loves to push people. But he knows when he reaches a limit and stops. He was never forceful to me, never even threatening. To him sex is a game and one he desperately wants to play again with Mitch. And like his game of poker, he knows how to play. And one of the most important things about poker is how to read people.

And boy did Randy read Mitch and Sam. And while his methods may not work for every reader, I was totally captivated by him.

His words were sharp and hard, and some of them were scary and more than Sam wanted. But they were just words, he realized. That was Randy. He fucked your head as much as your body. He found the edges in your mind and tried to send you over them.

And what I equally loved was that Sam played Randy right back and through these exchanges came trust and love. Interactions between these men were not without the other. They explored each other and played the game of sex very well together.

Now, I would have liked more backstory on Mitch and more romance. More lovemaking to balance the game but that is not to say there are not some beautiful moments and words shared between Sam and Mitch. Their relationship grows beautiful and fast. Maybe too fast at one point but ultimately they would not be the couple they are without Randy. He truly was the key character in this book and his love for these men hit me quite emotionally.

Looking forward to more of them. Fantastic BR with Marco

I keep finding myself avoiding continuing on reading this.
I don't know if there isn't enough of a story to tempt me.
The sex is hot but that's all there seems to be.
I think I should put it down now & try something else, its been over a week and I'm still only 30% in.

I first read this book back in 2011, and since then I've read it a few times more, but this was my first time listening to it. Iggy Toma is an excellent, reliable narrator and I enjoyed listening to him - he brought an entirely new dimension to my old favorite characters.
As for the story itself, I'm glad it stood the test of time so well. I found it as enjoyable as I did the first time I read it, maybe even more so because of the comfort element of re-reading a known favorite story.
