The plot revolves around Nico di Angelo and Will Solace, demigods who embark on a quest to save their friend Bob, secretly the Titan Iapetus, from Tartarus.

My only complaint the non-linear arrangement of certain chapters, where events are revealed prematurely, detracts from the overall flow and enjoyment of the narrative.

Other than that I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I did enjoy this, although I don't think I really meshed with the way this was written. I'm not sure how I feel about the framing narrative, or the way the POVs shifted within chapters. I'm not opposed to shifting POVs, but I guess I'm used to the change every chapter, like the Heroes of Olympus series with their names at the top of the page. It took me a while to realize the star graphic thingy indicating the chapter number was dark or light depending on whose POV was starting the chapter.

Either way, this was still a fun read!
