Rambling, yet apparently stripped down from previous version. Not much of a plot, just enjoyable random thoughts semi-structured from your favorite author and mine.

Such a joy to stumble across a book by [a:Kurt Vonnegut Jr.|2778055|Kurt Vonnegut Jr.|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1433582280p2/2778055.jpg] that I had never even heard of. Such a joy to experience his writing afresh. Such a joy to be reminded once again that life is a little pile of inconsequential dog poo that contains such joy.
Mr. Vonnegut, you are indeed a man for the ages. Or am I thinking of [a:Kilgore Trout|185899|Kilgore Trout|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1245380660p2/185899.jpg]?

A weird take on an autobiography. A great writing style and positive vibes throughout. It does feel a bit disjointed at times, bit that may be because I have not read many of Vonnegut's previous works.

Reading this in your mid 20s is a spiritual experience. Vonnegut can be both hopeful and nihilistic in a way that makes you fall in love with life again. I recommend reading, but with breaks to digest the profound questions it poses!!
Some good stuff in here, as I've come to expect from old KV; but mostly just a garbled mess
