I might have been into the weird storyline. But making fun of vegans in a completely irrelevant way and then joking about eating monkeys? Hard pass.

Reluctantly closer to 2.5 than 3 stars, I did not enjoy this quite as much as I liked the concept or the author's Rat Queens series. I think I just found it a bit to piecemeal and disjointed so that I never really felt immersed in the storyline or connected to the characters.
The art though was very vibrant, the beginning gripping and it had some little twists that I appreciated.
