An interesting memoir of Che Guevara from the perspective of his wife Aleida. It's definitely a memoir, she doesn't try to explain the history of Cuba before and after the revolution, it's just her story, the revolution is a backdrop . If anything this book whets your appetite for more about Cuban history and it's most famous character.

Mało o samej relacji Aleidy z Che. Książka to bardziej wspomnienia Aleidy z działalności w podziemiu/partyzantce. Liczyłam na coś więcej.

Che as a human being changes for the reader along the lines, and when one reaches the last pages, he is the most tender soul full of love and compassion and softness which is not celebrated. The reader is inspired by Che as a human being along with as a revolutionary and a leader by the end of the book.
