✨ I received this book as an ARC for my honest review✨

Rate: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After leaving Maine for Boston, Owne never thought he would be back to help with his father's lumber business after his father's arrest. He moved for a reason and wanted nothing to do with the business, but when family calls, you answer.

Lila will never seem good enough or be good enough for the people of Maine. Lila spent her life following her ex and his dreams while hers got placed on the back burner.

Now, Lila is trying to make something of herself, and Owen is the perfect man to help her. The only thing is that Owen is her ex’s brother. Owen is blown out of the water by Lila and how she has taken care of herself with everything life has thrown at her. Lila is finally putting matters into her own hands and will no longer let her life be dictated by anyone else, much less a man. I loved that everything she did was for herself and no one else. Lila did not have a lot of growth throughout the story, but it is discussed on and off pages. I enjoyed Owen’s growth most of all

At first I liked it, then they had sex and I started being disappointed. I guess future books will be about Hebert's Brothers so I'll see if I'm interested in their tropes

This series is really cute! I just think they’re a little too slow paced for me. but definitely giggling and kicking my feet
adventurous emotional funny hopeful medium-paced

Cute story. Loved how mature the guy was, but it seemed like he was bipolar in some of his reactions.

Great book, loved the setting, the characters and the writing. I love the ending and how it sets up for the next book and I can't wait to get to that one!

3.5? It was good but I feel like it could’ve been shorter? I’m torn of whether or not to continue the series….

Daphne certainly knows how to write some hot lumbersnacks!

We’re back in Lovewell, Maine. This time with the Hebert family as they navigate the fallout of their dad’s illegal activities.

Enter Owen Hebert, the city slick brother who begrudgingly returns to the small town to help salvage the family business. To achieve this he needs help, and this comes in the form of the once titled Maple Sugar Princess, Lila. The chemistry between them grows & is difficult to deny. But she’s his little brother’s ex girlfriend . . .

Oh, the sexual tension between the two MCs
