I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one! This is the first book by this author I’ve read and I enjoyed it! Workplace romance must be what I love this days!

Owen’s only going home to help settle his family’s baggage and then he hopes to keep this town in his rear view mirror. Deciding that he’ll need help, his brothers hire an assistant, Lila, to help. Which would be fine if Owen didn’t get distracted by her non stop. And to complicate things even more, Lila just so happens to be his brother’s ex-girlfriend so she couldn’t be more off limits if she tried.

This book is guaranteed to make you laugh and swoon. It’s got a good balance of drama, family, and romance. But important question - why don’t we have more books with grumpy lumberjacks?! Once you visit Lovewell, Maine you won’t want to leave!

I enjoyed it mostly. I did get over the mixed signals that Lila kept sending Owen. It also felt weird that she had dated his brother for so long before hand.
But otherwise it was good, I will probably continue on with the next book.
