I really enjoyed this book. Sometimes I was a little confused and realized there had to be previous books that explained situations in more detail. So sad to wait till July for the next one.
But I'll go back and read all of the previous ones. I hate reading books out of order so I have to go fix that.

It was a nice romance, with twists and turns - it was nice to see tiny links with other books within the “universe” (as such!).

Clive you ornery guy, right out of the gate! Loved it! This was such a great plot the angst was on point and I adored how Lila really came into herself. I loved how Owen was super supportive and sweet and successful businessman but still that sexy lumberjack deep down. Love the Lovewell, Maine lumberjacks looking forward to the next two books.

It gets a pity point for a crossover but no thank you ma’am. I could not get into this book and it overall just felt like a drag.
I think small town romances are one of my favorites. I definitely didnt have any expectations going into this book, but I absolutely loved this one. Owen is PEAK book boyfriend material.
Lila and Owen have amazing friendship, chemistry, and banter. They both have intense feelings for each other but don't think they should cross that line for multiple reasons.
The side characters were also top notch - a great friend group, close family, and meddling towns members.
