Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. This is not a genre that I would normally pick up, but the book synopsis sounded interesting and the setting of VA caught my attention. However, I found it to be a little too slow for my liking. The characters were likeable and I was pleased with the ending, but overall, this just didn’t strike a cord cord for me.
