March is Women's History Month and in honor of it here is one of my picks to read this month.

[b:Headstrong: 52 Women Who Changed Science-and the World|22856166|Headstrong 52 Women Who Changed Science-and the World|Rachel Swaby|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1416500509s/22856166.jpg|42422189] has 7 Sections :

Medicine
Biology and Environment
Genetics and Development
Physics
Earth and Stars
Math and technology
Invention

I jumped around when reading. I did not read all the bios and feel that with what I read I can still give it 5 stars. I will say many of the women I read about I had never heard of before but had heard of the inventions, products, etc.

More well known women Ada Lovelace and Hedy Lemarr are featured along with lesser known women - Hertha Ayrton, Ruth Benerito and Stephanie Kwolek.

I feel the book would be a great addition to any school's curriculum.

This book basically gives the SparkNotes one each of these women's major achievements. I wouldn't suggest this as a go to source for any of these women ( it doesn't go into enough depth to really attribute much more to your knowledge of them) but it's a great resource to find interesting women and their accomplishments so you can research mofe in depth on your own

I recommend this to anyone who wants a brief primer on a ton of amazing, brilliant women. I can't wait till my niece is old enough for me to give her this book.

This was a great book just to learn about more female scientists who discovered, invented, etc parts of math, chemistry, astronomy, biology, and many more. This is a great book for someone who wants to learn about more than just one person but in a biography setting. Each story only lasts a few minutes so it's easy to pay attention to.

If I had the money, I'd buy copies of this book for every school-aged kid in the U.S. It's high-time we made names like Alice Bell as recognizable as Albert Einstein!

I'm not sure why I never marked this "read," as I finished it months ago. It was very entertaining, informative, and satisfying. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I would have liked a picture of each woman (if available).
